APRIL 19 – 27, 2013
LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA
Once again, Lakeracer LLC and Teague Custom Marine have joined together to bring the best event in the country to you! Another collection of the most significant performance boats across the nation are once again planning to converge on Lake Havasu in 2013!
Lake Havasu boat show
This high performance boating week actually starts on Friday April 19 with the Lake Havasu Marine Association Boat Show thru Sunday the 21rd at Windsor State Park. Monday will be on the water Demos.
Wednesday
Kicks off the Desert Storm event with the first annual "Krusin' for Kids". Special needs children and adults will be coming from all over Arizona to have their DREAMS come true one KRUSE at a time. Volunteer boat drivers will take our guests out on beautiful Lake Havasu for a "Kruse" and back into the Nautical docks where they will enjoy a fun filled day created just for them! Hosted by Lake Racer and Teague Custom Marine. We have teamed up with three different organizations, Havasu for Youth, New Horizons and Civitan Foundation, the three organizations are bringing their clients and families to enjoy the festivities.

Wednesday Evening
Lake Racer presents a silent and live auction at the Desert Storm open house hosted by Oregon Custom Marine the newest performance boat dealership in Lake Havasu. The proceeds from the auction will be divided equally between the three organizations, so they can continue the amazing work they do for families in need. Join us for Beer and Brats provided by Romer Beverage and the Lake Havasu Marine Association

Kruisin For Kids Auction, Open house and Welcome party at Oregon Custom Marine. Beer and Brats provided. 1515 Industrial Blvd, Lake Havasu City
Thursday
will continue the excitement with our down town Street Party, opening this year at noon, all of our participants and Sponsors are invited to display their boats on McCulloch Boulevard which will be closed off for the event. Display and vendor booth areas can be purchased by our sponsors and the public. Last years Street Party was spectacular and over 40,000 people turned out from all over the area, so of course we have to make it even bigger this year.

Main Street Boat Show and Street Party. Open to the public –Free Admission!
5:00 PM - EVENT REGISTRATION
Participant Registration and check in for the poker run and shootout will be Thursday night at the street party (Near LakeRacer Motorhome)
Friday
Morning back at the Nautical Resort, the Poker Run takes off with registration, drivers meeting and a parade thru the London Bridge Channel beginning the run. With 3 card stations in the morning, Lunch catered at the Nautical Inn, 2 card stations and a helicopter photo station in the afternoon, there is lots of fun boating action! Friday evening, back at the Nautical Resort we have a card turn in party at the Poker Run Village on the Golf Course. Complete with a live band, sponsor tents, wild card prizes, food and beverage. We open the cards and record the winners, which will be announced Saturday night at the Awards Party!!!

Saturday
morning begins at the Nautical Resort with registration and check in for the Desert Storm Shootout. The Shootout starts off near Site Six Launch Ramp and runs two miles south on the California side. Set to run all day with a break for lunch, we’ll see who have the fastest boats in the west and the King of the Desert!!! Spectators have a great view from areas around the Site Six Launch Ramp, our wet pits location (VIPS only), in the parking lot, we have display and vendor areas available.

8:00 AM – Shootout Drivers Meeting at Nautical
8:30 AM - Tech inspection begin at Site Six Docks.
