So I've noticed quite a few new people checking out the site, which I'm very glad to see. But don't be shy. I know a lot of you from the river and I know for a fact you are not shy :partyguy: So here's your change to say "hi".

Post up:

Were you like to boat
Your boat info (if you have one - owning a boat is not a requirement for this site. Loving performance boats is :D) So if you don't have a boat, just post up your favorite river or lake beverage, or list both :D

I'll start:

Mainly Parker Az.
2005 DCB F26 w/TCM800 We also have a 27' Playcraft with a 496HO :D
Fireball :buddies:

I predict this thread is going to start sounding like the introductions at an AA meeting, so I will join in.

1985 22' Nordic Daycruiser squirtboat, 454 BBC a little warmed up.
I mainly boat in Parker and can be found in a Riverland Bungalow (rental), or when invited by my best friend, pretty drunk on a porch on D row, and not Hot Boat's :buddies:

Fireball only consumed in excess.

'90 Daytona with '05 250 wackers, it is apart this year for modernization. Expect to be on a buddys boat for DS though. Prefer Havasu for boating, but need to check out the River sometime. I am lucky to get to the water twice a year since the NHRA bit me.;)

I have always been impressed with your wife's confidence operating her boat!:) Mine wants nothing to do with it even in open water with few boats around.

In Parker most weekends Thursday to Sunday between April and October, also hit the big winter weekends and love winter boating.
We hit Havasu from the springs once a month or so and try to never miss DS.

Don't drink while driving boat but at night I'm a blue monster and vodka killer.

Hi my name is Jerry and I like boating on the Colorado riv, Irvine lake, Elsinore, Puddingstone etc. I'm the guy who made the "River Rats vol 1 & 2 dvd's as well as shooting all kinds of boat racing events and regatta's for over 15 years. My website is www.v-drivevideo.net

I learned to ski at age 6 behind a flatty on lake mead and currently own the late Pete Peters "Honcho" ski race boat that I've turned into a legal K boat. I'll be entering a race or 2 soon.

I'm not and never have been a drinker only because I don't like the taste.

I have a huge collection of old boating magazines and race programs as well as 1000's of pictures.

So far... We love it. It is amazing how roomy the 240 is. I can sit four adults comfortably in the open bow. The Playcraft was way too underpowered for me. I will miss being able to find a beach anywhere on busy weekends and the shop-vac and put away simplicity of the toon. The perfect set-up is still to have one of each and thats not going to happen anytime soon. I shopped newer toons and to get what I wanted it was going to be $60-70k. Cigalert was a huge help when I was shopping. I think I asked him to measure is boat ten different times... I wanted mine to fit in the Havasu house garage.

I like that pic, seems like the skier really leverages the boat back on the pad thus making it fly nicely!:)

No pad, round bottom. The boat was originally built for Vic Eddlebrock, as a v-drive, but before they rigged it, they decided to make it an outboard. It is layed up very stout.
