My boat

My first fun boat I built from the hull up is a 1986 Caribbean 18' jet. Engine is a .060 over 454 4-bolt main, Scatt 4340 crank, 1969 ZL1 full floating rods, JE pistons 10:0:1, Comp Cams flat tappet cam and valvetrain, Chevrolet oval port heads 2.19in & 1.88ex stainless valves, Edelbrock tunnel ram, Magna Fuel reversion plates, two modified Holley 600cfm vac. with Quick Fuel Technology metering plates, MSD marine ign. Berekley 12JG pump, detailed B impellar, Aggressor bowl, stuffer plate, full droop snoot, Place Diverter W/ red reducer ring, CP loader grate, custom billet shoe & ride plate. ARP fasteners holding everything together and Auto Meter gauges to watch everything.

  17. Comp Cams marine bracket racing flat tappet cam .578 lift and 245 @ .050 110 LSA and installed at a 106 centerline.
  18. JE forged pistons with a 23cc dome volume.
  19. 1978 Chevrolet 4 bolt block, bore is 4.312 with a Scatt 4340 4.00" stroke crank.
